I just love this adorable Skeletons Dance stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey. I decided to make some coffin treat boxes with this set.
All supplies use in today’s project are linked at the end of this post. The compensated affiliate links within the supplies may be used at no extra cost to you but will support me in continuing to add content to this blog.
This treat box is made from an Access file from Cricut. It is a really simple coffin shape. They cut out perfectly with the Cricut Maker, which I used for these, and the assembly was quick and easy. You can get this file by purchasing on of the Cricut Access Memberships here.
I used the Journey Craft Glue so that the completed project would be sturdy and hold up to holding a range of treats. I added a little embossed message inside the box as a surprise for the recipient. I used Whip Cream Embossing Powder for this sentiment.
The main cardstock that I used was Black Licorice, Citrus Cooler and Electric Lime. The image was stamped onto Whip Cream cardstock using Black Licorice True Fusion Ink. I mounted the die cut image onto a Journey Ovals Die Cut to make it dimensional.
I wanted the front sentiment to stand out so I embossed it using Black LIcorice Embossing Powder. I love the shine! I also thought the little bone image fit perfectly along the top edge of the box top for that added fun touch.
I hope you like these and will give them a try. I have listed all the products I used for this project below.
I am doing a Giveaway over on my Fun Stampers Journey blog. I hope you will pop on over and read all about it. I want one lucky winner to experience how great my Magnetic Storage Boards are for thin steel die storage. I sized them to fit all the FSJ stamp sets but they work beautifully with other dies out there in the industry.
Check out my Beneath My Branches blog here if you are interesting in all the details.
