Cute Little Frankie

Hi there everybody!

Don’t you just enjoy making fun Halloween projects at this time of year?  Here is a close up of the gift tag I made this week.

I used one of the most versatile  stamp sets I own for tags and treat boxes.  The stamp set is titled Batty for You and sadly enough it has been retired.  I am hoping it holds up for many years to come because I know I will use this set every year at this time!

I used my Sizzix Orignals Die-Circles #2 in my Big Shot for the base tag (fold is on the left edge).  On this sample I used plain River Rock card stock.  I punched a 1/8″ hole in the upper left side with the Cropadile and inserted a string.  I use white crochet cotton for most of my tag ties.

The Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set works perfect for the nice inside sentiment.  The front image is stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock with Wild Wasabi and Basic Black Stampin’ Write Markers.  These markers work perfect for this type of stamp since you can be color specific and still stamp with one “press” !  I distressed the edge and added a bit of Tea Stain ink from the Distressing Essentials kit.  It’s all about simple when projects need to be finished in advance.  The image is punched out with the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch.  I used Wild Wasabi card stock and the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch for the image mat , adding a touch of  Basic Black ink sponged onto the edges .

I like the effect of adhering the image onto the base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
