Array of Sunshine Note Card

My aunt has been weighing heavily on my mind lately since I do not see her much.  We live 3 1/2 hours away from each other and I know she has been having some health problems. To help cheer her up during these rough times I made this floral note card.  I am writing her a letter sharing all the latest family activities on my end.  I hope the bright happy colors on this design help cheer her day.  Love you Aunt Mary!

I used the Wisteria Wonder Color Coach card to help me with my selection.  I decided to use the Creative Combination on this design and the very gorgeous stamp set Array of Sunshine.

To make the background I stamped the fern image from the stamp set with VersaMark ink using the Embossing Buddy first to remove static.  I sprinkled Stampin Emboss Powder in Clear onto the wet images and heat set with my Heat Tool.

Select Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink pads and sponge over your clear embossed images. I love how the images just pop off the paper!

Here is a close up of the background.  It measures 4″ x 4 1/2″.  I matted it three times using Whisper White, Lucky Limeade and Basic Black smooth card stock.

Take a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamp the flower image in Elegant Eggplant Classic ink.

I added Stampin’ Glitter in Dazzling Diamonds to the image using the 2-way Glue Pen and a large pearl from the Basic Pearl Jewels.

Cut out the image and adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped a repeat flower image on the inside of the card with an accompanying sentiment.  I also added a small Dazzling Diamond center too!

I will be broadcasting Stampin’ Up! workshops beginning September 2011.  Please Join my Crowd here for some fun and interaction with fellow stampers and scrapbookers!

      Hi Debbie,
Thank you so much for the compliment. I have not done any videos lately because my daughter had been ill for quite a while (since last October). All is much better now so I will begin filming again soon. I am also doing new USTREAM classes/workshops soon. I hope you will join in the fun. Thanks for the comment 🙂
