I have been quite busy cutting trees from my new AccuCut die so I have been a bit remiss in posting lately. I had been anxiously awaiting this shipment. This die was out of stock and it too 4 weeks to ship. Once I opened the box I just thought…ooh was an adorable tree this is. I decided to have a little YouTube series showing you how I make this album. I am not sure what papers I will use yet or even what pictures I want to include. There are so many choices. This black chipboard looks great with Glimmer Mist but I just love the new holiday papers that have been released. Such decisions!!!! I will post more on the series soon.
For those of you who have not seen this shape before I think you will find it very versatile. You would not need to make it specifically for Christmas or Winter themed however. I think this would also make a great Family Tree for your immediate family too!
There are 5 branch layers and I have cut them from a .057 heavy weight black core chipboard. It is very durable and I think my album will be receiving plenty of wear and tear showing off some great family pictures. If anyone would like to follow along making this project I have made these albums available for sale on my Etsy shop here.
I am using a 1″ binder ring to assemble the album.
Please check back for my Part 4 of my Book of Spells!
