It’s almost time for those ghosts and goblins to be wandering the streets seeking yummies!
I really enjoy assembling this vertical paper bag album. I purchased the commercial pattern from Paper Phenomenon and I just love the finished product. I can’t wait to make more themed albums with this same exact pattern.

It was also a great project to use up some of my left over papers from previous projects. This one includes some Stampin’ Up! designer papers and card stock. I also used some great basic Halloween stamps that I haven’t had out for a while. I’m trying to use what I already have purchased. NO need for me to buy more until I empty the stash a bit!
I used the Celebrate It paper bags from Michaels. They are the bags that come pre-packaged in the quantity of 12 and measure 4 5/8″ x 2-1/8″ x 8-5/8″ . They are so sturdy and I love the finish on them…..very smooth.

I added a few different sizes of black mats for the paper bag photo mat inserts.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Toil & Trouble stamp set for the title on the cover. I really like the white pigment ink on the black but I could easily have done a white embossing powder to add a bit of shine or even an orange or glitter embossing powder would be really nice as well.

This is the front of one of the inside pages. The right panel is held shut with magnets. Keeps everything nice and tight and neat. No tags or photo mats slipping out of the album this way. I made the ghosts with an old Sizzix steel die and just crumbled white card stock and lightly inked the edges with black Distress Ink.

This is how the flap opens revealing other pockets for mats, journaling cards and tags. There are pockets everywhere! Lots of room to document the event.

I made a nice charm dangle for the binding. It looks nice and sparkly in the lights. I wired on one of the wishbones from Tim Holtz to add the creep factor hehehe.

Hope you enjoyed seeing the latest project from me. If you would like to see a flip through the pages Youtube video just let me know. I’d be happy to do one for you 🙂
