I’m beginning a new paper flower series for 2015. Each month I will make a new DIY paper flower with a design that I create using either punches, die cuts or both. I hope you enjoy them. They work great as embellishments on the front of chipboard albums…. which I absolutely LOVE to make! You could also add them to cards and other 3D projects of course. Just so you don’t miss any of the months, please subscribe to my YouTube channel here. Once you subscribe you can also click on the little “cog” or gear that is next to that subscribed area and select SEND ME UPDATES. By choosing that option you won’t miss any new videos I upload 🙂
I created a small blue flower and a larger dimensional white flower for the cover of my snowman album. This album is using an older Bo Bunny paper collection titled Powder Mountain. I still love this paper! The album I used available here.
The blue flower has 5 snowflake layers using the McGill Alpine Snowflake punch.
I also wanted a larger white more spiky mum-like (is that a word?) flower so I used the Anna Griffin snowflake die from her Christmas collection for the next flower.
A little snipping and molding and it’s finished! They are really simple so I hope you will watch the video below and try them for yourself.
Have a great weekend!
